The Municipality of Skurup is situated on the south coast of Skåne between Malmö and Österlen where the beautiful Söderslätt and the Baltic Sea meet. The rich landscape is characterised by high ridges and vast, open fields, interspersed with farms and medieval castles that are typical for the province of Skåne. It was here that Nils Holgersson started his wonderful journey through Sweden in the famous novel by Selma Lagerlöf, and to this place he longed to return.

Skurup has a favourable geographic position offering excellent connections to the European continent. Malmö International Airport is situated only 15 kilometres from Skurup, and by train you can reach Copenhagen in less than an hour.
