Bjuv is located in the northwest region of Skåne. Within a radius of 25 km is Helsingborg, Elsinore, Ängelholm, Landskrona, Höganäs, Svalöv, Åstorp and Klippan with together 200,000 people. There are 25,000 companies with 75,000 jobs, commercial airport, ports, railways, highways and much more.

The purpose of the municipality's work with business life is in collaboration with Skåne NorthWest:

  • Provide service to existing businesses
  • Initialize the business collaboration
  • Facilitate business contacts with authorities
  • Manage industrial land and premises
  • Through promotion of the municipality creating the conditions for start-ups and immigration
  • Create opportunities for specific investments in training and skills development

Skåne North West
At the regional level are a variety of actors working for development of the industry. These are collected in the Business House, located at Lund University - Campus Helsingborg. Business House is run jointly by the municipalities in Northwest Skåne.
